4 Ideas for Inexpensive Children’s Parties for Girls

When it comes to children’s parties? The Woodlands, TX parents can feel like there is a lot of pressure. Are your kids constantly being invited to children’s parties where others seem to try to outdo local parents?  There can be a bit of pressure on kids to have an amazing party and parents can’t always afford to spend hundreds of dollars on a children’s party, particularly if they have several kids.  Here are some inexpensive ideas for children’s parties for girls.

1 – An At home Spa Day

Expensive salon days for little girls seem to be the trend right now in places like Texas and elsewhere. But you can do an inexpensive little spa day at home with your daughter and several of her friends.  Make-up, nails, and hair can be done by a trendy Mom or could also be done by some older teen girls, such as babysitters or family friends that you get to help for the day. Some fancy appetizers and a loot bag with a manicure set and some nail polish as well as some candy could be inexpensive to put together.

2 – Crafts Parties

A craft, thrown into the mix for a party could be fun, too. Designing your own flip flop shoes to wear while painted toes are drying could be an inexpensive craft and offer take-home grab bag potential, too for an at-home spa party. Flip flop / thong shoes are readily available at discount dollar stores and some bejeweled stickers could be all that is needed to personalize a pair of shoes.  For cooking parties, little girls could decorate their own aprons. Scrapbooking parties are popular, too.

3 – Cooking Parties

Many little girls love to cook and a baking or cooking party could be fun, too. Local cooking schools and other cooking party venues in places like The Woodlands can charge anywhere from a low price to a more exorbitant cost for this type of event but you could do it at home, as well. Depending on the age of the girls, decorating pizza bagels and their own cupcake could make for a fun and inexpensive event.  Some opt, for the sake of less of a clean-up to book a party venue. Consider checking local party directory resources to see what’s available. Your local church or recreation center may be willing to rent out their kitchen inexpensively, too.

4 – Outdoor Birthday Fun

Pool parties are great in the warmer weather, of course, but if you don’t have a pool, you could set up an outdoor splash pad inexpensively. You could also rent outdoor equipment, such as bouncy castles for outdoor parties. A barbecue and some birthday cake could be all you need when you’ve got a sunny day.
